“I started training at UAD in May of 2012. In almost a year’s time, I have put on about 20 lbs of good solid muscle. My gains I have made are amazing. I’m bigger, still fast, and much stronger. The environment at UAD is awesome. It’s very welcoming and once you get there it’s all business. Everyone there becomes your friendly and motivating and feels amazing leaving there with a pump. Brock is great at what he does, the people and atmosphere are great and when you put in the hard work, you will see gains. If you want to get better, UAD is a great place to start.”
**Update** – currently a member of the Des Moines Blaze football team, at their testing in November of 2014, after 7 weeks of preparation at UAD, Brock put up the following numbers:
Body weight: 242
40: 4.63
Bench: 225×21
Best training numbers:
Close grip bench: 385×1, 225×29

“When I first began high school sports (football to be precise) I weighed around 185lbs (wet). I wasn’t big into weight lifting but it was a requirement to have to go out for football. So I did it! Our coach at the time had two individuals who taught us how to lift properly and also, how to stay motivated in the gym! Now I had good days in the gym and bad days in the gym, as of today I still have bad days once in a great while.
Brock Leggins got me absolutely hooked on strength training. I remember the first time I ever did squats, I loaded it up (185lbs) and knocked out 5 reps. Brock seemed really impressed, so he told me to try 225. Busted that out. THEN, Brock told me to try 275, and whadda know, I got it. I was squatting close to 300lbs as a freshman in highschool.
Brock was there for me every step of the way in terms of weight lifting! I could clean 120lbs, bench 165lbs, and squat 275lbs. I truly believe that without his guidance and encouragement I would NOT be lifting like I am today. I’m currently still enrolled in Grundy Center High School as a senior. I am 17 years old, I weigh 270lbs and I can Squat 475lbs, Bench 300lbs, and Deadlift 600lbs. I will participate in lifting competitions around Iowa this winter, and then run track in the spring.
Brock, Thanks For EVERYTHING you’ve helped me accomplish in the gym man!”

“My son Jameson is an Ankeny swimmer that started working with Brock in April of 2012. As a result he has gained 10 lbs of muscle, gotten much stronger and faster in the pool.

Working with Brock has helped him gain a healthy confidence in himself and his ability to compete in the pool. His 50 Breast split time in the 200 Medley Relay was the fastest time at our District meet in February this year and one of the top splits in the state.
Brock tailors the workouts for swimmers and his goal is to make them faster in the pool. Brock has worked around his swim practice and meet schedule, adjusting the intensity for meets, etc. Jameson continues to work with Brock and we’re excited to see what this summer brings.
Jameson has gone from not receiving any college coach attention to receiving several inquiries. If your son or daughter wants to compete in college, I would highly recommend Ultimate Athlete Development to any parent and athlete. Working with Brock will maximize their times and performance.
I’d be happy to provide more information – I can be reached at Spitzig.natalie@gmail.com or 515-419-4754.
Thanks!”
