Ultimate Athlete Development’s mission is to administer the best in athlete-specific programming aimed at injury prevention, increasing sport performance capabilities, and developing an athlete’s mental capacity.
All programs at Ultimate Athlete Development are individualized based on an athlete’s age, training history, injury history, sports played, time of year, needs, and goals. There are no one-size-fits-all programs. Every program is written with an end-goal in mind, every rep is coached. This is NOT your typical gym – it is a training facility, with performance in mind.
The goal of training is the principle of all-round development. Taken from Supertraining by Mel Siff and Yuri Verkhoshansky, the principle of all-round development “entails building a solid physical and mental foundation on which to found other specialized sporting qualities. All-round development involves strength, speed, flexibility, endurance, good coordination, strong will-power, and exemplary moral and cultural development. Psychological preparation involves persuasion, explanation, example, encouragement, group influence, self-motivation, and adaptation to stress.”
I bear no allegiance to any specific means or methods of training. The only modes of training which are required are those which move the sport result forward.
The improvement in general qualities may be achieved via using a variety of means, including:
Body weight
Barbells
Dumbbells
Kettlebells
Bands
Sandbags
Odd objects
Medicine balls
The planning, organization, and execution of the means and methods will determine the outcome – not the exercises themselves.
Any plan, program, or regimen of training must be as fluid, dynamic, adaptable, and ever-changing as the athlete themselves.
We have athletes across a wide array of ages and ability levels and from a wide range of sports, including football, rugby, softball, swimming, tennis, volleyball, softball, and baseball.

Athletes are trained in small groups of 4-8. This small group atmosphere provides a training environment that is both supportive and competitive. As athletes, they should be placed in competitive situations as frequently as possible. This also allows them to form bonds with training partners that can push them further than they otherwise might.
